@mrs. bird: It's a HUGE relief. If anything it's just nice to know we'll have somewhere to hang out hats come January and honestly, the inside is beautiful. What more could we a want? A great deal and just the space we've been needing!

@coopsmama: I think once that tree grows and you add some bushes, it will make HUGE improvements. I would also consider mulching along the driveway and along the sidewalk. A couple of chairs and a table with a plant or cushions on the chairs will make a huge deal, too. And that stuff doesn't cost as much as redoing the whole exterior.
We have a front yard that looks similar with the sidewalk and berm and after 5 years, it finally looks good to us.

That actually made me almost like the exterior! I think it will really look nice as the landscaping matures and we put some extra special touches to make it ours.
