Oh yuck!! I feel your pain. It happened to us for the first time a few weeks ago and I still haven't recovered. Talk about earning your mom badge!!

When M got her oral rotavirus vaccine the nurse told us to thoroughly wash our hands after every dirty diaper change because a live form of the virus can be in the stool for up to two weeks. Yeah, she decided to poop in the tub that night. Not fun!

This happened to us last night.. and it was NOT the kind that is easy to clean up
Of course, it was the one night I was doing bath while DH was gone.. and then I had to put us in the shower.. and he was mad and wanted to nurse... ugh. It was a disgusting, slippery mess.

The last time LO pooped in the tub, she tried to help me clean the poop out - little poop chunks and water all over the bathroom rug. Thanks LO, very helpful.

C pooped in her second bath ever. At least we still had her in a little basin at the time.

@scg00387: ugh showering is pretty much out of the question for us because as soon as she sees a boob she tries to dive bomb to nurse and its a constant battle not to drop her when she's slippery and squirmy!!
@yoursilverlining: M just stood next to me and SCREAMED because I dared to not hold her while I cleaned up her poo.

Oh man poop is so stressful. Lo hasn't pooped in the bath but she had 3 blowouts just today...

Poo in the tub is the worst! We have only had it happen once and it was at least scoop able. But still had to disinfect everything.

I read this and was like, "oh, I'm so glad E doesn't do that"...and guess what happened in the bath tonight? Yep. Horrible. I had to bleach everything!

@HLK208: oh no! So sorry. That's why I am not going to say anything at all. I know it will happen sooner or later.
