You know, when your toddler digs out the bag of brown sugar from the cabinet (that is childproofed) and pours it over himself and the entire kitchen. And your husband decides the best way the clean it up is by vacuuming it (using both the Dustbuster and stand up vacuum). And you find all this after coming home late from work dreaming of takeout and bed. Instead you put the chow mein on the counter and begin mopping and cleaning every surface and vacuum.

Carseat (as in, fighting the kid to get her into it.)

Husband. B threw his stuffed raccoon down the stairs when we were running his bath. After bath I stayed upstairs to read a book, husband came downstairs. Must have literally stepped over raccoon at the bottom of the stairs, says he didn't notice. When I left the room B stood sobbing "Mommy get my raccoon!"' for several minutes until I got downstairs and realized what he was saying. Had to take the raccoon back up and go back into his room, which set him off when I didn't stay, and it took him a half hour to fall asleep.

Today's word of annoyance is hospital.

@autumnlove: I'm alright. I have facial cellulitis. We have been in and out of the hospital since Sunday. My poor kids are tired of it. I am too but they said I don't have to come back and took that awful IV out of my arm!

Headache!
