Hey Ontario bees... We're thinking about moving from quite a bit north of Toronto to waterdown for a variety of reasons. Just wondering if anyone lives in the area and has suggestions for daycare, mom groups, yoga studios, things to do, etc. Anything helps! Thanks!

No advice because we live in the city, but I just read an article about how Hamilton is like the Brooklyn of Toronto. It's a real up and coming area, so I would be surprised if there weren't a bunch of mommy groups and yoga studios around! if you're on Facebook, maybe search for some mom groups and see if you can get some more info from moms living in the area? I'm pretty sure there's a big baby wearing community in Hamilton.

@loki: I've also heard that Burlington is a really beautiful city! We have to live in the city for work reasons, but I know quite a few people heading West for better housing prices. It doesn't surprise me at all that these are becoming more popular spots!

@gentlelunette: we work in the city too but we're totally suburban people haha. All our family and friends are in the oakville area but I prefer waterdown because it's got a smaller town feel! Thanks so much for your responses!
