@Rainbow Sprinkles: there are a couple i linked to for even less on page 6 (i think it's page 6, it's a couple pages back) on the deals thread depending on the color you're looking for! i've ordered a lot of open box items from amazon, loved most of them. it will tell you the condition on the product before you place it in your cart- like damaged box, or stain on top or like new. if it's like new, i'd go for it! worst case you send it back! the only issue i've had is when they've boxed things together, specifically a 30lb cast iron camping dutch oven and a large set of bone china in the same box.... and then the box showed up dropped and messed up, but shockingly the contents were unharmed! i say go for it!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: The only wrinkle I'd say is that if you're interested in going for the Registry Rewards program, you need the box!
The rewards program gets you a free Britax Boulevard convertible car seat.

You need a B-Ready, car seat, carrier and 2 accessories from their list to qualify.

@sunny: it'll still have the original box and as long it doesn't say there is damage to the box, the UPC should be attached. the registry rewards program is awesome & i totally agree that it's a great thing to take advantage of!

@mrs. bird: can you help me find a great deal on a second seat? Black or silver? (Or whatever color matches the open box b readys)? I would do black with any color stroller.

The only problems I've had with Amazon open box items is with electronics. I think sometimes they were returned because they were defective. I've had two situations with electronic devices that turned on and basically functioned, but had defect. Now I don't order electronics that way unless I'm prepared to deal with the hassle of needing to return and repurchase.
