This is to the parents of the 300+ teens who vandalized Brian Holloway's home

So far only 4 of them parents came and met with holloway, the others were threatening lawsuits and saying its no big deal because kids will be kids. Today I believe 6 of them have been arrested

It really bothers me that these parents aren't making their children take responsibility for their actions. I can maybe understand the parents being upset that he put their pictures online and called them out publicly (because I would rather deal with it as quietly as possibly), but the children put the pictures online themselves - he just put them in a different spot! And, not to mention all the damage and disrespect.

Wow, I can't believe he's reached out like that! The parents that are coming against him are ridiculous & I feel sorry for their kids! Ugh.

I get being EMBARASSED by the public shaming and I'm not sure it was the best way to handle it (or maybe it was? I don't know) but that isn't the issue. When you break into someone's house, you don't get to choose how they react to that! As I tell my students DAILY, you can only control YOU. You don't get to control how others behave. If you don't want to be publically shamed for breaking into someone's house and pissing on their floors, don't break into their house and piss on their floors! These parents are rediculous.

I have no words. What are those parents thinking? It makes me scared for the future! I understand that the parents would rather deal with this privately. But their kids were the ones that posted the party pictures online! It's so ridiculous!

yeah I think it stopped being a private matter once they uploaded pictures to twitter. Its sad because some of them are on twitter saying its not big deal and that brian holloway is ruining their lives

These kids and parents should be ashamed of themselves. I can't believe the parents aren't taking more responsibility, and teaching their kids the same.

The parents (of most of these kids) should be mortified. That's just horrific how they are essentially backing up their kids. I would have 1) been immediately sent to that clean up picnic and 2) potentially turned into the police by my parents. They did NOT eff around with us. I'd also never be allowed on twitter, etc, again, let alone a computer or iphone. Ridiculous. Some parents these days just make me worry for the future of our country with all these entitled kids.

awesome letter... I think my parents would have dropped me off to clean, then dropped me off at the police station!
