I like Marie but it's a very common middle name. mary is a bit more unique. Do either have special meaning?

@T.H.O.U.: Marie is my middle name as well as my mums and her mums. It generally gets passed to the first daughter.
Mary is my departed mother in laws name.

For some reason when I first read this, Eleanora Mae came to mind right away. We know an Elaina Mae (her mom calls her by both first and middle all the time) and I think it is really cute!

Eleanora Marie is BEAUTIFUL. Love it.
I like Mary too but it just doesn't flow as well

@artsyfartsy: Marie is top pick for me. DH is pushing for Mary. Hoping to sway him. It floored me that he liked this first name. Not common but not too out there.

I think Eleanora with Marie rolls off the tongue better than Mary. Will you call her Eleanora or use a nickname?

@delight: I would say Nora as a nickname if we use one. We don't really use them for our boys.

@MrsRcCar: I love Nora. I like Elle and Ellie to though. Eleanora is a great pick! Now we just have to see if your gender prediction is right!

@delight: DH isn't a fan of Nora as a formal first name but doesn't hate it as a nickname.

@MrsRcCar: oh I love Nora so much! It would likely be my top pick but my DH doesn't like it as he thinks it is too "old fashioned".

I like Eleanora marie! Are you for sure having a girl??? Congrats!

@Pirouette: we don't know yet but girl names have always been hard for us to agree on. This pregnancy has been very different from my boys so who knows.

@MrsRcCar: Ah ok. Can't wait for you to find out! And funny, I think boy names are somehow harder

@Pirouette: we have a short list of boys names. Having to two boys gave us a lot of practice coming up with those.
