@MamaMoose: I second this!
This will be our 2nd month using OPK's after taking two months off. And, I just could not fathom trying to make out what the lines were going to tell me. Digital it is this cycle.

this is why i got the clearblue easy fertility monitor - i couldn't decipher the lines and was driving myself crazy comparing them

if you can attach pics (i'm sorry, i don't know how) i'd be happy to take a look and see if i can help!

Last month was my first time using OPK and I still don't know for sure that I ovulated because I couldn't tell the difference in the lines. I bought the Clearblue digital for this month. I can read a smiley face no problem.

@AlivOO01: They actually recommend testing 2x a day because your surge can sometimes be really short and with one test, you could miss it. I know once my morning test was negative and my afternoon was positive.

@beetones: I had a pretty distinct difference between my negative and positive. It was usually blank or super-faint and then one test would be VERY obviously 2 dark lines. I stopped testing after that one.

Once I get 2 dark lines, the lines both stay dark for 3+ days. This is probably why they say to stop testing after you get a positive. I am much too curious to stop though. I've never gone past 3 days, so I don't know when it fades back...
