Yep! I told him I was using them cause I went right off BC and I wanted confirmation that my lady parts were working right.

I didn't tell him when I first started using them, but when it started taking longer than predicted, I told him about it. Every month since then, he would inquire if the test was positive or not.

I told him and told him when they were positive the first couple of months, but that turned out to end in disaster because it was too much pressure. So then I'd tell him my expected 'week' it would be positive and alert him after the fact that we were done.

I started using them because my period was really weird even 6-7 months after stopping BC, so he was glad to know that I was trying to see what was going on down there. At first, he didn't want to know the specifics, but like a lot of your DHs, eventually got excited for smiley faces!

We've been TTC for 14 months now, and he's pretty in tune with my cycle at this point: He wants to see my chart, wonders if I got a smiley, asks me if I've been spotting, etc., etc., which he's fine with! I think it's because he's fascinated by the whole process, which I'm not complaining about!

I never told my husband I was using them but he knew I had some sort of system to let me know when I might be ovulating.

@Marionberry: I couldn't have said it better myself! I think the hardest part of TTC was when I felt alone in it a few months ago. Now that we're seeing an RE, I thought I'd be upset about it, but really, now that DH shares my anxiety and hope and excitement and disappointment, it has made it so so so much easier.

@MrsCastro: This is my first month using OPK. I told my husband when I ordered them ... I think he's a bit clueless about what they actually do, but the other night, I showed him one and explained it. He didn't really seem to care either way, ha. I guess that's a good thing.
