We are in the process of searching for our first home and it is so daunting, yet exciting at the same time! What were the most important things you looked for in a home? Rate them if you feel like! I'm curious to know if anyone else looks for anything different or if i am missing out on something. So far, ours are as follows:
1. Location- convenience, good neighborhood, not too long of a commute to work, close to public transportation.
2. Good school district.
3. Space- at least 3 bedrooms and over 1,200 sq ft
4. Walk-ability- we want to live in an area that has a nice downtown with shops, restaurants, etc within walking distance.
5. Outdoor space- doesn't have to have a huge backyard, but we want some outdoor space.
6. Charm/character- I love older homes and would love to find an older home that needs some work( but not too much!).
