After seeing the Revenant last night I'm looking forward to the big show tonite. Mostly for the fashions and to see if Leo wins
Will you be watching?

Definitely watching! As usual, I haven't seen many of the movies nominated...I did see Spotlight, which I LOVED. I always like to see the fashion, though. Also, someone I went to grad school with is nominated for short documentary, so I'm rooting for her!
PS: I think DH and I are going to make some kind of virgin cocktail to drink while watching, haha. It was his idea -- we like to make special drinks for stuff, but I can only do non-alcoholic these days

I can't wait to watch! I need to hurry to the grocery store and get home. DH will be doing most of bedtime duty tonight.

I want The Martian to win for best picture, but I hope Leo wins for best actor.

I won't watch because we no longer have regular TV
Yesterday, we saw Spotlight and Trumbo. We already saw The Martian, Mad Max, and The Revenant in the theatre. I think that's all we saw for Oscars nominated films. I think Best Picture will be Spotlight and Leo for Best Actor just because it's time.
I can't wait for the Red Carpet pics to post on-line.
ETA: I saw Bridge of Spies too. That was dissappointing.

I'm so happy for Leo too! Though my ckevruty crushes have always been Leo and Matt, so I was rooting for both of them!

@hellobeeboston: I didn't think Reese looked like her usual glowing self either and her dress was certainly not helping her cause! Boring and kinda ugly. She typically is one of my favs on the carpet so this was a let down.
I missed Jennifer Jason Leigh, was she acting crazy?
Heidi Klum was like lavender barf - terrible!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Margot Robbie and Rachel McAdams are two of my top 3 . . . rounding out my list was Naomi Watts. She looked outrageously gorgeous (at 47 no less)!
