My son is a few weeks away from his first birthday (hard to believe!), and we're thinking about getting him a swing that we can hang from the ceiling of our little porch out front. We have a small bench out there that we love to sit on, and we think he'd love swinging out there. Does anyone have anything like this? Things you love or don't love about it? We don't have the outdoor space for a swing set, so I'm looking at just an individual swing.

We love the Little Tykes one. But honestly, after a year, he's getting big for it.

@T.H.O.U.: Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad both you and @Mamaof2: love it.....but I'd like it to last longer than a year if possible? My son is also super tall, so I fear he'd be too big for it too soon.....

@ChiCalGoBee: I have the little tykes one. DS is 2, wears a 4T and is 40 lbs and still loves it. But we buckle the straps under his arms instead of over his shoulders. Like a lap belt.

@ChiCalGoBee: i have the little tykes swing, and my little guy is taller and bigger than most. At almost 2 years old, he fits fine. I can see it working another year and then hopefully he'll have swinging by himself figured out!

We have the little tykes one and have had 4 and 5 year olds swing on it just fine.
