A friend wore these last weekend, she looked adorable. I think I would look ridiculous.

I wore them the first time around, so no, I won't be wearing them again!

I'm too large for these. I feel like they only look okay on the slimmest of slim people.

Not exactly the same, but I've been looking at these and am thinking about pulling the trigger!

@Littlebit: I like those because they cinch at the bottom. Super cute with heels!

@banana: right?! I think they would be cute with some gladiator sandals also. I'm pregnant though - wondering how stretchy the waistband is!

I think maybe, if they're wide/flowy enough that people might think you're wearing a maxi dress?

No, not for my body type. I like them best when they're high waisted and dramatic. I definitely couldn't pull it off

Not for me! But my SIL wears them all the time, and they can look awesome on her (she's tiny!)

I like them, but the elastic waist drives me crazy. I need a pair with a more structured waist

As long as you keep the top fitted (and I mean fitted!) and the hem breaks at the top of your foot, these can work for a variety of people . . . people start getting in to trouble when they have too much volume up top and/or the hem is too short!

I like them. They're better than those crop tops I've been seeing. No thanks on those.

A friend was wearing a pair the other day and she looked adorable. I know from experience I would not look adorable. Wide leg pants I can do up to a point, but not palazzo.

@Littlebit: yes to gladiators! They can be either casual or shexy with heels.
bananas / 9973 posts
Yes! Though they look much better on taller ladies! I need to wear some serious wedges to look decent in them.

My first thought was "no way, not again", but after thinking about it for a minute, in a light airy material they could be a great solution for summer. As a mom of two I'm starting to feel like it gets harder to find appropriate shorts that still look cute on me (I am petite and have to remind myself "just because you CAN shop in juniors doesn't mean you SHOULD"). Skirts are tricky when you're chasing a toddler/sitting on the floor at activities with them...
So now I'm saying "maybe" - I'll have to try a pair.

I have a pair in navy and white stripes that are awesome! I'm 5'2" and I think I pull them off. I'll try and come back with a photo of me wearing them so all of you shorties know it's possible!

I would wear the style but in black r white. I'd never ewear something that loud.

NAY. I dont think they are awful, but it gives me horrible flashbacks to the thick, gathered polyester ones we were forced to wear as our concert dress in my high school orchestra. Blech.

Maybe as pajama pants to wear around the house... But other than that it is a big resounding nay for me.
