There's such a quantity difference between original Pampers and the Swaddlers line....$45.99 for about 276 original and $45.99 for about 234 Swaddlers. Why the difference? Is it really worth it?
In fact, while we're on this subject....feel free to recommend a disposable diapers brand if Pampers isn't your favorite!
*By the way I am asking in regards to size 1 & 2 because I plan on getting Swaddlers sensitive for NB.

For us, yes they were worth it!
I have loved the Sensitive Swaddlers from NB through size 2, they were best for leaks for me, and didn't smell very strong. Love, love, love them for NB size, they were the only ones that fit him well while he was under 10lbs.
Starting around size 3 (~6 months), the Cruisers have been working best for us, but my little guys is all over the place now.
I didn't think the extra thick wipes were worth it for us, too few for the price you pay, and I used the same numbers of wipes for poopy diapers whether they were thick or normal Sensitive ones.

I mostly cloth diaper but I will only use Sensitive Swaddlers when we go on vacation or when we are away from home most of the day! Love the low fragrance, wetness indicator and the fit!

Worth it in IMO. And like PP, starting with size 3, Cruisers were good and what we use exclusively now.

We use Swaddlers and like them - but I haven't used any others to compare them to. I don't have any complaints about the Swaddlers and have only very, very rarely had a leak.
I don't like Pampers wipes - I love Huggies sensitive wipes!

Worth it! Once they get bigger & their BMs become more solid, I don't think it's as big a deal, but when they're super tiny & their poop so loose & they still have lil chicken legs it's worth it.

I love the swaddlers! I actually like them a lot more than the sensitives.
We've tried those two, a couple baby dry (not a huge fan, maybe for when LO is older) and Huggies little snugglers. I like the fit of the Huggies best, but they just don't beat how well the Swaddlers draw away and trap the moisture.

I definately prefer them for the first couple months. I have tried ever brand with my 2 DDs, but these by far have worked the best. Sign up on Pamper's website for coupons (I never paid full price for a thing of diapers)

@yoursilverlining: That's *exactly* what everyone else tells me. Use Pampers Swaddlers diapers and Huggies wipes (I got the natural care value box and a box of the thick kind).

We totally love Pampers Swaddlers and got really sad when Wagon Jr. outgrew the biggest size. Then the non-Swaddlers Pampers didn't work for us (always leaked) so we switched to Huggies and those worked. So we were Huggies diapers, Costco's Kirkland brand wipes (they are THE BEST, hands down, no questions asked, I LOVE THEM). Lil Miss Wagon's already on size 2 Swaddlers... yikes.
I've heard Target's diapers are great AND cheaper than Huggies and Pampers, but we don't have a Target nearby so I've never tried them.
Costco's Kirkland brand diapers are fine too, but most times the Huggies were cheaper per unit with the coupons so we stuck to Huggies.

Hm, I like the Pampers Sensitive wipes just fine. Tried Huggies thick wipes or whatever they are and they would leave nasty little pieces on LO's butt.

I love them. We had leaks with all others. I use thick n Kleen organic wipes. I love them too.

We just switched back to Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive after using Huggies for a couple months. Forgot how soft the Swaddlers are and love how they are so lightly scented! And totally agree with @mrs. Wagon re: Kirkland wipes - they are my absolutely faves and I've tried almost every single wipe out there!

When we use disposables I use Huggies because I can't stand having scented diapers. What's with that? How can they be for sensitive skin and have fragrance?
