Does your LO have a parental preference when sick?
My oldest definitely prefers me when he doesn't feel well. I don't usually mind, unless I'm not well, then thing get tricky! Thankfully my youngest is happy with either of us when he doesn't feel well.

Usually she jumps at any chance to spend time with Daddy, but when she's sick, my LO only wants to be with me. Actually, ON me. She won't even tolerate me putting her down to prepare a snack or anything.

DD has had a strong mommy preference this past week. The 1st day she was sick she wanted daddy, but that didn't last.

Always me :,( DH has horrible hospital humor, so if DD hurts any of her limbs/appendages, he asks "want me to cut it off?" ugh. I don't blame her for coming to mom for hugs instead of him lol.
DS just flat out prefers me at all times, so I'm the default.

LO is all about Mama when he is sick! He still loves DH, but he just settles better with me when he doesn't feel well.
