My parents are pretty proud of the fact that I'm an attorney and are constantly telling their friends to ask me about their legal issues. Usually I think it's sweet that they are so proud of me but sometimes it can get kinda annoying!

Yes, we're constantly being volunteered to drive people to the airport!!!!!!!!! Ugh!!!

YES! I live the closest to Logan airport and my parents, um, my mom, is always volunteering me to pick up family. I don't mind, I love my family, but with a LO and especially when I was breastfeeding, it wasn't the easiest thing to pick someone up, drive them an hour plus to my parents house and then back to the city where I live... good times.

my MIL does constantly and i have no qualms about shutting her down. i think it's incredibly rude.

My parents don't volunteer me but when Korean parents find out that I'm a high school English teacher, they automatically ask for free tutoring for their kids. I bluntly say no and then they think I'm rude. Luckily, my parents side with me on it so it's all good!

I do a decent of web work for relatives. Don't mind though... as long as it's family. Wouldn't love it if it was for friends of family, or happened too often!

Yes, my mom volunteers my crafting services. I don't even have time to get my own crafts done!

Nope. DH does, though...comes home once in a while and says that he told the guys at work that I'd make cookies or something for him to bring in. I know he's showing off, but sheesh.
