I'm currently planning DS's (quickly approaching) 1st birthday party. We're going to have an afternoon pizza party at a restaurant in town. It's going to be mostly adults, a few babies and a handful of kids.
What would you do for favors? I'm totally clueless. There won't be many children that would expect or enjoy a party favor (most will be under 2 years old), but enough that I feel like I should have something. Maybe an edible treat so parents can enjoy?

Is there a theme for your party? We usually do cookies as favours but if there's a them I can probably come up with something more creative!

I gave out mini cupcakes as favors for the adults and prepared 3 favors for the 3 kids who were in attendance.

I like the book per family idea.
Or I always think food is a good idea. Could do a big cookie with a 1 decorate on it.

we're doing a 'winter ONEderland'.
maybe a treat bag with rock candy, hot chocolate and a "1" cookie?
maybe I'd get a book for the families... maybe something winter themed as well?

I gave out homemade cookies and a small magnetic frame for the adults, and for the kids/babies in attendance, I gave a small age appropriate goodie bag (bath toy, stickers, silly straw, that type of thing).

Please nothing from the dollar store! I throw it all out before LO even sees it! I love the idea of a book per child. The adults don't need anything!
Maybe inscribe the book with Lo's birthdate and a quick thank you. And a sweet ribbon wrappe around the book.

Love the book idea! We did cookies, you could get a cookie cutter in the shape of your LO's first initial or in the shape of a one.
