I'm confused..

what does the home have to do with it? lol

if LO had a buddy, I'd still go to their party. unless it was at some dangerous/scary place or something..

@locavore_mama: We invited B's daycare friends to his first birthday and it was great meeting the parents. It went so well, that there are talks of playgroups on the weekends. We did not do any in the summer because that's a crazy time but I think it will happen this winter.

We don't have "friend" parties until age 4 and we have them at home. I cant afford these crazy $$ parties outside the home.

With that said we are the ONLY people to have "at home" parties everyone has them at a bounce house or chuck e cheese.

I would go to either.

I will add at age 2 instead of having a party why not just have a play date with some party food for just her and her BFF? Just a thought =)

I've only been to daycare parties outside of the home.

In our experience, acquaintance-level people are more likely to come if it's a neutral location like a park or play zone... going to someone's house is very personal.
