Sorry for your loss
We had a Bernese as well, she passed away when she was just over 6. Such beautiful loving dogs, but just don't have the average life expectancy as other dogs. Beautiful pictures you posted of him -

I just lost my 12-year-old pet rabbit, and it was heart-wrenching. People keep telling me to remember all of the good times. These wonderful animals play such an important part in our lives!
