I would probably tell someone at the store and apologize profusely, explaining the recent surgery. They can't be mad at a kid who just had surgery. They probably won't be mad at you either because they don't want pee on their floor for any longer than necessary. If I didn't have a change of clothes with me, I would buy a new pair of shorts there and leave. It makes the store look dirty and unkempt if someone else discovers the pee while shopping and it's really not the store's fault.

I hope he's okay from his surgery! I would send the person I'm with to the bathroom with clothes (I always carry a set of clothes for the kids) and look for an employee to tell about so that they can clean it up.

I'd offer to clean the mess too.

IN MY HEAD: I would responsibly find the nearest employee and let them know about the mess, and offer to help clean it up as well.

IN REALITY: I would probably die from shame first, then stumble out of the store and swear to myself that I would email the store manager later.

@wheres_c: Haha I would probably sneak back into the store with a bunch of Nature's Miracle and try to clean it myself!

I would tell someone and offer to clean it up, all while hoping that they say they've got it.

I would tell a store employee. If I really felt embarrassed, I would probably mention that I noticed it, and not imply it was my child who did it!
