I'm wondering if any of you have used a pelvic support girdle in pregnancy that you'd recommend? I'm 23 weeks pregnant and having terrible pubic symphysis pain. My OB recommended a pelvic support girdle but there are lots online. Any thoughts?

For pubic symphysis pain, the serola SI belt is great!

If you can I would really recommend a chiropractor! I started going at about 25 weeks with my second baby when the pain started, she was able to get me back in alignment and while I still had some pain, it wasn't nearly as bad as what I had with my first.
She also gave me a support band (I did have to pay for it) like this one, though I never needed the strap that went over my stomach.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help a ton! I went during this pregnancy, and I'm so glad to get some relief without having to wear a support belt in the summer heat.

@KT326: I used a similar one when I was pregnant with my second. He sat so low on my pelvis that the maternity belt helped so much.

I had terrible pelvic pain with my 2nd pregnancy, and this belt was recommended on a post here. https://www.amazon.com/Gabrialla-Elastic-Maternity-Support-Medium/dp/B000ZKE4AM?th=1 It helped SO much! I would also recommend a chiropractor if you can afford it. I did it with my 1st and it was a huge help. I had a different job and therefore different insurance with my 2nd and couldn't afford it and really wished I could have!

My physical therapist recommended the OPTP SI-LOC maternity brace. It was really helpful and worked much better for my pelvic pain than a more general maternity support band. (I also had the white one above which was great with my first pregnancy but did almost nothing for the pelvic pain I had with my subsequent pregnancies.)
