Maybe wait another minute or so and see if it gets any darker. Like someone said earlier, sometimes the early tests do take a bit of time to show within 5-10 minutes, but after 15 minutes should probably be thrown out.

Fingers crossed for you! I got what I thought was 2 negative test results until DH bought me a digital test that showed I was definitely positive! Good luck!!

If you want a digital, try ClearBlue Easy - it picked up a positive for me and my HCG never went higher than 6.

@anonysquire: Oh no, as far as I know, that doesn't even happen until WAY later in the pregnancy, so I don't even know why it happened to me! I just knew it was unusual for ME and I felt really off.
