When you have things personalized for your LO (back packs, clothing, blankets, etc) do you usually personalize with their names, initials, or both?
For at home items (her PBK chair) I personalize using her name.
When it comes time for LO to go to school I'd love to get her a personalized back pack. As much as I'd like to have her name embroidered on it, not sure I want strangers knowing my LO's name..

I won't be personalizing stuff they take out of the house. I just have his name on the inside of backpacks, coats, etc.

Hubby is very against personalized shirts, backpacks, etc. which I agree with. We have tons of personalized things in the house though, like the pottery barn chair and bibs.

I totally agree. I HATE when strangers ask DS's name. It totally freaks me out. Personalization with name will only be for inside the house.

yeah I agree. I don't want strangers calling out their names and pretending to be friends with them. LO got a personalized mini backpack from PBK as a gift, with her full first name on it. It's not leaving the house!
