I haven't trained... but my step father who was a vet did teach me some.

My husband is! He's a police officer and works a bit with the K9 unit. He actually performed CPR on our neighbor's dog last summer.

I haven't, but I have taken an infant CPR class and looked up instructions for pet CPR, so I feel like I understand what to do.

@mrs. 64: No, I'm not trained. I got a free dog training class from the shelter where I adopted my last dog and they gave off phamplets about pet CPR. Wondering if I should sign up.
@Mae: I am CPR trained, too, and have seen things on Pinterest on how to give my dogs CPR. Wondering if it would be valuable to learn in person.

Huh.. Never even thought about that! If I come across that I think I would sign up! God forbid my dog suddenly stops breathing and I need to do something!

I know people may hate me for this, but no way would I give my dog CPR.
Edit: well, I guess I wouldn't mind doing compressions, but, no mouth to mouth.
