I currently have a Canon T2i and for the most part, I've really loved it. I have the kit lens (18-55mm), 50mm f/1.8, and 35mm f/2.0. In general, I tend to use the 50mm or the 35mm.

I've been really happy with this camera and the lenses that I've had, but I primarily take portrait photos or photos of Xander playing and now that he's been moving a lot more, I've been having more and more trouble getting a good shot. We spend a lot of time in doors where I don't have fantastic lighting. I generally shoot at f/1.8 - 2.8 in order to get as much light as possible, but I've been having trouble keeping Xander in focus (the eyes! why are the eyes always blurry??). I often shoot at 1/100 shutter speed in order for the photo to be bright enough, but is that too slow for a moving toddler?

I've been thinking about upgrading my camera body (Canon 70D maybe?), because I hear the focusing speed is faster and it has less shutter lag. But I'm not positive that that will help my issues. Any advice, Bees?
