My husband just restored our data backups and got me access to my old photos from 2008-2012. Yay!!
I'm thinking of making a photo book with them so our kid(s) can look through them when they get older. I know I loved looking at photos of my parents when I was growing up.
Any recommendations on what photo book printer to use? How do you deal with your old photos?

I love Adoramapix. My new wedding album should be here Monday! They're print quality is amazing and they have thick pages. I've also seen alot of recommendations for Mpix but I have no personal experience with them.

I've used Costco before. I want to try something different. I've still never done anything with my wedding photos!

I make a Shutterfly album for each trip we take. You can always find coupons so I make them and let them sit in my account until I have a good coupon to use. I never pay more than about $12-15 (incl shipping) for a 20-30 paqe 8x8 hard cover album.

We've used Blurb. I was pleased with the quality of the book. You can customize a lot, but their software is clunky.

I use MyPublisher. The program is super easy to use. They often run specials for free extra pages. The downside is they have a 100 page limit. I'm hoping they change that one day! If not, I'll have to find someone else to use.

I try to make photo books and get so overwhelmed by the process that I never complete it. I'm old fashioned and get them printed at the store. For LO's birthday I make sure I have a complete album of photos for guests to flip through.

@Yin: Shutterfly did buy out MyPublisher, but I so far they haven't changed anything from what I can tell which is good.

I happen to write a blog about photo books. I'm kind of obsessed with them! I like MyPublisher for their crisp and vibrant print quality, and Shutterfly and Mixbook for their attractive digital scrapbooking like templates. It just depends on what kind of project I'm trying to do.

I think the next really nice photobook I make will be from Artifact Uprising. Found them on Pinterest; they're expensive, but seem to be a really nice quality.
