I have a 2.5 year old and a one month old. We live in New England, so I don't foresee us using a stroller for at least a month. My daughter still likes using the stroller for long walks. Should I get a rumble seat or piggyback board? I feel like the piggyback board would be hard to walk with, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyone prefer one over the other?

I am in the same exact situation (2.5 yo, 7 week old, New England) and I'm getting both. The roughy board I got doesn't attach so we haven't tried it yet, but I figure we will use both for different situations. Short trips I think the ride on board will be easier but sometimes I want her strapped in and contained. But pushing the stroller with the toddler in the lower seat is definitely a lot harder.
We have an UB vista, the older version.

We only have the board and it's been fine. He's 3. The board is not really hard to use, it just takes getting used to holding your arms a little farther away. If you think you will still need your older LO strapped down at time (I admit I do wish this was an option sometimes), then i would get both.

We have a rumble seat and my son still occasionally uses it at 2y10m. I love the fact that we can strap him in when we don't want him getting out (like in a store).

What's the weight limit on the rumble? Could the baby go in when he's 6 months?

I have both (kids are now 7 months and 2y7m) and I've never actually used the rumble seat
so I'd say get the board only. We use the board a TON! Or I wear my baby and my toddler goes in the stroller.

I wanted so badly to use the rumble seat, but DS1 was way too big. We just use the board.

We only have the board, granted, our stroller doesn't have a rumble seat option, but when I see rumble seats when out and about they all look so teeny tiny. I don't find the board to be hard to walk with. We used it nearly every day for 2 years (from age 3 to 5).
so I'd say get the board only. We use the board a TON! Or I wear my baby and my toddler goes in the stroller.
