I heard this on the radio this morning and just googled it.
Would you take a pill to prevent cavities?
I would! I have only ever had a small one that didn't require numbing - I am terrified of getting a cavity!!

I would absolute take it if it were effective. My family owns a dental practice and I still get cavities all the time. I am really prone to them. My dad will be retiring soon and I am terrified of getting fillings done by someone who is not my parent.

Ugh, I hate taking pills. I have been prescribed a special mouthwash by my dentist. I'll continue buying the mouthwash over taking a pill any day.

I'm curious if it's similar to some dental probiotics out there. I considered taking one when we had recurring bouts of strep throat. I would take one.

I'm prone to cavities, but I'll continue brushing and flossing as best as I can.

Yes! If there were no other side effects and the pills weren't terribly expensive, I would absolutely do this.

Yes!!! Cavities run in my family, and I'm pretty sure it's the germs. If only I'd known how the whole mouth flora thing works when I was a school kid so I could have nipped it in the bud... A probiotic is just the thing for someone like me!
