@Raindrop: I have to agree with regberadaisy ca thinks it has good inventive pizza but really it's pretty far down the list. This coming from someone who has lived there my whole life

@regberadaisy: @MamaBear87: Alright I googled california pizza kitchen (funny thing is I have only ate there once!) I really know nothing about them! I swear for some reason I thought they made some crazy pizzas and were known for that so ... supposedly (quoted from wikipedia - because you know can trust that j/k) - "The chain is widely known for its innovative and nontraditional pizzas, such as the "Original BBQ Chicken Pizza", BLT, Thai Chicken, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizzas." They have been around for 31 years.

It depends where it's from I tend to have a favorite kind at each different place. But my standby is an extra cheese, cheese pizza.

My favorite is mushroom with jalapeños

I usually get cheese for DS or for Hot and Ready pizzas. If it's a fancy pizza I like goat cheese and arugula. If it's a good pizza place but not fancy and it's just for me I like roasted peppers, feta, and olives.
DH can't eat cheese so he gets cheese less pizza with all the meats.

My favorite is fig jam, goat cheese and caramelized onions, no tomato sauce, no mozzarella.
But I will eat any kind of regular pizza, except sausage and mushroom.

Wondering if Canadians eat Canadian pizza. I am a fan of pineapple by itself, but did you know Hawaiians NEVER EVER eat Hawaiian pizza? In all the years of my life I have never seen it ordered once. #newsyoushouldknow

@gingerbebe: I have a friend that doesn't like tomatoes and always gets white pizza ... His wife misses tomato sauce pizza and loves eating with us to have that. I am like get two pizzas!!! Leftovers!! Sadly that couple refuses to eat left overs... They are totally missing out on cold pizza leftovers. Ha!
@looch: those sound yummy!!
@808love: I had no idea where Hawaiian pizza was invented!! Just looked it up... Wikipedia because you know that can be trusted (jk) but it says "Despite its name, Hawaiian pizza is not a Hawaiian invention; it is Canadian." Makes sense it is usually Canadian bacon. :). Kind of like how Californian rolls (sushi) was invented in Washington state instead (I believe) but I love Californian rolls! Ha!

@Raindrop: Oh interesting. My grandpa is Canadian but moved to Hawaii in his twenties. Maybe he had something to do with naming it! LOL!
Didn't know that about Californian rolls either! I like them too!

@808love: haha just looked it up. California rolls was also invented in Canada!!
Wikipedia - "The California roll may or may not have been derived from the Tojo-maki roll created in Vancouver, Canada by Chef Hidekazu Tojo, in an effort to get his local clientele to enjoy sushi. Chef Tojo moved to Vancouver in August 1971 from Japan. He realized that seaweed turned off Vancouverites, so he turned the roll inside out to hide it. Many visitors from Los Angeles came into his restaurant and enjoyed the new sushi roll, and the name California roll was given. It spread throughout the world."
