I have 3 kids but I would love to get them involved in gardening. I dont want a ton of mini kits that are clutter. But we dont have a farm either. Any suggestions?

We have an aero garden and my 6yo loves it, she can take care of it herself and things grow quickly

Can they plant flowers outside this spring? DS bought a morning glory this summer and it went insane, by the end of the summer he thought our house was going to be covered by it and turn into the jumanji house, lol.
Gift them little shovels, aprons, watering cans, seed packets.
Fairy gardens might be cute with small plants?
Or those pizza kits are cute with basil, parsley, etc.

Buy a grow light and start some easy plants from seed. That way they can watch the whole process. You can start planning in January and plant in February.
Someone gave us a "grow a Christmas tree" kit and it did not work so those are hit or miss.

I got DD1 a cute big flower pot and some good soil. That's it. Her pre-K class (remote, because this was in the spring) was sprouting seeds, so she stuck all of those seeds in the pot. We got some beans, which then went outside into my mom's container garden. Some peppers, which are still blooming and bearing fruit indoors. And some lemons and oranges, most of which are growing sloooowly in the same pot. One really took off and got transplanted into a pot of its own

I've never had much luck with any of those cute mini kits marketed to kids. What my daughter does love is her own shovel, trowel, etc. You could spice it up with fun and colorful gloves and hat too
Maybe a set of tools like this?
