Do you put a swim diaper and swimsuit on your LO?

do you mean naked vs clothes, or like, swim clothes vs regular clothes?
at my parents, she played in her normal clothes. we just changed her into dry clothes afterward.

My daughter hasn't done this yet, but I would definitely at least do a swimsuit to teach her that when we play in water, we wear our special clothes. I'd probably do a swim diaper too, just to avoid staining the swimsuit in the event of a #2. Plus that also follows with the "playing in the water means special clothes" mindset.

We kind of just go with it. In our backyard we would happily let them run around naked
