Hmmm . . . maybe around 7 months or so? It started with the little guppy that came with the baby tub (we have the FP whale tub) . . . and that just carried over to the big tub.
ETA: I let her play as long as I was bathing her, and then for a few minutes afterward. Now we probably spend 10-15 minutes in the tub together. She loves it!

I just started putting DS in the tub with DD. He loves playing with toys. Usually I'll let him play for 10-15 mins.

Probably 7-8 months. He still mostly just chews on them, but he plays more now too. I let him play until he's done (he'll launch out of the tub!) or until he poops, but it's usually only 10-15 minutes.

Probably 6 months? Just little squirt toys and a rubber ducky. Her bath is usually 10-15 minutes long and she plays the whole time.

@FutureMrsMcK: haha, or until he poops. The last 4 nights as soon as I put R in that tub she pees. Just glad it isn't poop!

@Smurfette: Oh, it's a shockingly common occurrence. Like several times a week. I've tried playing around with his meal/bath times, but no matter what I do, there's usually poop. I think maybe the warm water just gets him going!

@FutureMrsMcK: I started this week with the water a little warmer cause she seemed cold, so I think it is making her pee. Just waiting for the poop. I know it is a rite of passage for any parent. I have been peed on.

@Smurfette: I try really hard not to have much of a reaction to it. I just calmly but immediately take him out and tell him bath time is over because he pooped. I don't think he can control it at this point, but if he can I don't want him to do it because it draws a big reaction out of me.
And yeah, been peed on more times than I care to admit, slept in a pee puddle covered by a hand towel, pooped on, spit up on...motherhood sure is glamorous!

I think it was around 6 or 7 months before LO really loved playing with toys in the tub. She's a tub-a-holic: we're in for 45 minutes usually (unless she poops first). I play DJ and spin tunes, she stacks cups, makes waves and dances!

@Smurfette: @FutureMrsMcK: One time I got in the tub with C because he needed a good scrub down.... 3 minutes later? GIANT poop. Green water. DH laughed at me for hours! I will never try it again.

@grizz: This is why I don't want to get in the tub with her!!!

@grizz: Haha okay that might be my "too gross" moment! I'm grateful that's never happened, but I rarely get in with him.

@yoursilverlining: That sounds like one heck of a partay!
@Smurfette: I haven't been pooped on . . . yet! And I get in the tub with her every night! *FX*
@FutureMrsMcK: Lol - gives a whole new meaning to *Amber Alert*!

Around 7 months. Bath time takes way too long because the LO's don't stop playing!
