I may be in the minority but I think it's gross. I just don't like the flavor of pumpkin. I have never understood pumpkin pie.

I have the best recipe for pumpkin bread!
3 1/2 C. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 C. oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
2/3 C water
1 tsp cinnamon
2 C pumpkin (I use canned pumpkin puree)
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 eggs
1 1/2 C brown sugar
1 1/2 c white sugar
Sift dry ingredients, including sugar. In a mixing bowl, make a "well" Add remaining ingredients. Mix together until smooth. Portion into 3 bread pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done. Maybe stored or frozen. Nuts may be added.
NOTE: baking in tin cans makes attractive loaves.
I don't often share my bread recipes but for you I will. This is a must have during the holiday season. I can no longer enjoy it due to my wheat allergy so I hope that you can for me

@boiledpnut: go for its sooo yummy. I think tis weekend I'm going to find a way to make this gluten free so I can still enjoy it once in a while.
