@Becky: @yellowbeach: just heard back! That was a long night lol. HCG result was 299! estrogen was 181 and progesterone was 19, not sure how those numbers are, nurse is checking on estrogen.

@bhbee: lol, probably better this way, I don’t have to worry about twins!

@LAZB: Have you played with this baby med tool much? If I plug in my 1st and 3rd betas I get one line that’s just slightly above average, but if I use 2 and 3 I am off the charts 🤔

@chypmunk: thank you so much! Hope you are well and that your ttc is smooth and easy!!!!

Line is not getting that much darker, but I am nauseous as heck so I continue in my cautious optimism. In delightfully first world problems, we’re headed to Orlando for DH’s cousin’s wedding. I don’t really drink, so that isn’t an issue, but my MIL very kindly got us Disney Tickets for a day, and I fear not wanting to go on big rides will be a dead give away. I’m going with the “I just want to do rides with the toddler” approach haha.

Wish me luck on my big talks this morning! Stomach was in knots all night - nerves + nausea 🤢

@msmilkshake: you will still have a great time! Avoid the teacups though, those will make you sick even not pregnant!

I just called and asked for another beta. I'm losing it. I guess the three losses last year made me extra paranoid (as if I wasn't already obsessed enough)

@LAZB: 299 is great! Can't blame you at all for feeling worried, but those numbers sound good. Hope the third beta. puts your mind at ease.

@LAZB: I totally feel you on the 3rd beta. I would have begged for a 4th if I wasn’t out of town.

Hey guys, I’m back with an update! I am currently 7w2d and just had an elective ultrasound (since my OB refuses to do one until 12 weeks and being a twin myself, I’m paranoid about having twins). And there is in fact only 1 baby in there! Heart rate was 149, measurements were exactly where they should be, and the babe was even moving around a lot which the tech said was rare at this many weeks but an extremely good sign! This was an abdominal scan so the image is mirrored. Are any of you ramzi experts? I’m hoping girl!

Hcg just came back at 961! I’m so relieved, my tests have basically been the same the past three days, so I’m done testing. Whew!

@yellowbeach: Hey, leave some dye for the control line!
@LAZB: Great number!
@MissLace: Hi baby!

@yellowbeach: I actually didn’t test for the first time today! My test yesterday was pretty much the same as two days before and it freaked me out too much.
Bottom was 961 and top was 299

@yellowbeach: Oh it sure did, sorry to leave you hanging. It was such a happy board mostly, I didn't have the heart to mess it up.
It's CD6 today. We'll continue trying (with less and less enthusiasm I might add) until January and hope IVF works for us. SO is getting tired of this journey, but I've told him flat out I'm not ready to give up and that he knew from the go I wanted kids.
We'll be fine and he'll do what it takes, but it would be a lot easier for me to be in this with a partner rather than having to drag a wet blanket behind me.

@paranundrum: my partner was the same and went into that mode about 6 months ago or so. Barely paid attention when I gave IVF updates, fussed when he had to go get another SA. In fairness when we got this BFP he did thank me for my energy and dedication, but it’s exhausting going it alone.

@yellowbeach: I'm sure mine will be happy in the end too, it's just the 'getting there' part that's difficult.
I'm so glad this worked for you!

Ugh someone reassure me that things are fine and ultrasound will yield good news on Thursday. For some reason I just have this feeling of dread today.
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@yellowbeach: I feel like the first trimester can be a constant source of that feeling of dread! But you have every reason to think Thursdays results will be positive! We're rooting for you

@yellowbeach I 100% am with you on the feelings of dread. But I also truly believe things are fine. You have so many people pulling for you!
On this end, I told myself I’d test again one more time when I got home from this trip. I’m officially done testing now, on to the anxiety and hopefully also joy!

@yellowbeach: I’m with you too. I’ve never had anxiety/feelings of something going wrong during a pregnancy before and this time it’s because I feel like I’ve just been so lucky (2 perfect pregnancies and deliveries) that it’s not possible for this one to go so well. I hate even typing that but it’s true

@msmilkshake: come join us on the June Mamas board when you are ready!

@yellowbeach: Your ultrasound is this Thursday already? Where has the time gone?! Only four more days until you know for sure everything is going great!
@msmilkshake: Beautiful lines! May I add your BFP to the board?

@yellowbeach: I TOTALLY get it and I felt the same way. But have faith that things will be good.
