    @Alison206: I'm sorry honey.
@Hanzabelle: I hear you. You just want AF to come so you can focus on the next cycle, but give it a few days. If you end up with a BFP it'll be totally worth it.

@mrs. bird: Ugh, that sounds sucky. I think the same thing...and then feel guilty because I feel like that. And then I feel worse. Vicious cycle.

  4. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@maybebaby: I put the POAS date as the day AF is due, but it's a big lie, because I always test earlier.

  5. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Hanzabelle: That's so sucky. And the reason I started charting. I couldn't stand it when AF was late, but I still kept gettin BFN.

@alison206: Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry. I was really really hoping Jenny Renny had it for you. But I will bet that even if it's not this time, it will be very soon!

@Grace: yeah I'm thinking I might start charting next month...it just looks to hard...lol

  7. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Hanzabelle: It's really not that bad. You just download a charting app (like Fertilty Friend) and buy a basal body thermometer. Then just take your temp first thing in the morning and put the data in the app. The hard part is trying to remember that you are looking for a pattern, not the individual day's temp.

@Anonysquire: Hey!!!! Welcome back!! Yes, please do continue to look after your thread! I've had a little go, it was good practice, hard work, and now I'm ready to give up the reins to my very capable friend (you!). xx

@Hanzabelle: Charting seemed hard to me at the beginning too, but it was the best thing ever to start doing. I realized a lot of months I probably O'd ON the day that my OPK turned positive, so was missing the critical day or two before that. I have the monitor now for the same reason but charting gives you really great insight into what's going on.

Dangit, I was hoping that my temp dip yesterday was a fluke but nope, it's dropped even more today. Damn. Trying not to get TOO upset, since I haven't gotten AF yet, but work sucks today and everything's getting to me. Just needed to vent a bit.

@Ali: You were doing great! And awesome idea with the rollover thing. Good luck with BDing! My husband was also a pain when we did it everyday for like 12 days straight lol.

@Bookworm: Aww I am sorry! Fingers crossed for you still though. I don't take my temps regularly so I never really know what the temps and rises mean.

@Hanzabelle: I think it looks hard too! I am too scared to try it lol.

Oh my, so I am making myself a little cuckoo this month. I'm not charting and honestly am not the most "aware" of what is going on with my body. I do know that my cycle is typically 28 - 31 days, so I assumed I might ovulate around CD 14 or 15. Well, all last week (putting me at CD 10 - 18) we BD'ed approx. every other day.

I thought this would have us covered, but just now (on CD 20) I have what I believe to be stretchy EWCM and a slight pinch in my lower left abdomen.

I'm guessing it's possible that I didn't O last week and could possibly this week? Or, could the twinge have been implantation? This whole CM idea sort of throws me off.

Disclaimer: I'm still new to the whole concept of TTC, so I appreciate you going easy on me, the newbie

    cantaloupe / 6923 posts

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I am not an expert at all. But I always read everywhere that EWCM is fertile CM. So I would definately keep BDIng!!!

Oh and I think I ovulated this month at CD20-21 as well.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: Well hopefully you did ovulate earlier, and maybe it really is implantation!!! Hopefully other people from this thread that actually know what they are talking about weigh in lol.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: Unfortunately temping is really the only way to know exactly when you O, but fewer people O right on CD14 than we'd like to believe. I O around CD19 every month (with 33-34 day cycles). OPKs are another way to guess but not as definitive as temping. Stretchy CM is a good sign though that O is still coming!

  22. MrsCastro

    persimmon / 1491 posts

@Mrs. Lovejoy: i had a 32 day cycle, i thought i would have O'ed around day 14-16, but i actually had EWCM on CD21, and we got busy. I got a BFP two weeks later...Spreading baby dust....so make sure you get busy when you get home...

I'll join! We're TTC after I miscarried at 9 weeks last month. It was a terrible experience, and I'm still having a hard time but trying to move forward. I have good and bad days, but it's getting better, and focusing on trying again is helping. I'm just thankful for DH and I try to focus on the positives in my life.

I'm not exactly sure when I O'd, but I'm thinking it was 8/29 or 8/30, putting me at 5-6dpo. I think I'll test either 9/12 or 9/13. I'd wait longer, but we're going away that weekend, and I want to know before we go! That said, I'm sure it will be sooooo hard to wait! I'm just afraid of testing too early and getting a +, only to lose it

Hope September is a lucky month for us all!!!

@MrsCastro: I'm so sorry for your loss It's been so hard, and I wish no woman had to go through it. Although I was anxious when I was pg, I didn't think it would happen to me. The first couple of weeks after MC were very difficult for me, but I'm feeling a little better & just trying to take it day by day. How are you holding up?

@MCD919: @MrsCastro: Looks like we're all in the same boat. I miscarried at 9 weeks in July. Waited for AF and now we're back to TTC. Today is CD6. I'm glad we can try again now because its felt like a lifetime since it happened, but I'm also nervous.

@MCD919: it sucks!!! I am almost 3 weeks out from my D&C. I think this week will finally start to feel "normal". I still have really bad days, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of what could have been. We decided we will start trying once AF comes. How have you been holding up?

Yay!! After 3.5 days of +OPKs, I got my temp rise this morning! That means I'm officially in my first TWW! I'm considering giving up the temping over the next two weeks to stop me going crazy!!

  35. ladybee

@anonysquire: 14dpo and a BFN. Put me down as a rollover. However, hubby and I have decided to take a couple months off.

@MrsCastro @MCD919: On the 10th I will be 4 months out from my d&c. It took me 42 days exactly to get my first period and my cycles have been that long ever since. Today I got another BFN and I think I'm going to be taking time off. I feel great, and yes I think about it but I don't cry and I see the "for the best" in it. However, when cycle after cycle ends with a BFN I become a traincrash. I'm so angry. I am SUPPOSED to be pregnant! Not trying, not being disappointed, not disappointing my husband every cycle. The whole rollercoaster is killer.

I'm sorry you both had to go through this (same with @teacherbee). I wish the 3 of you the best! I will be taking a month or two off to work on me and getting myself back to normal.

@lilteacherbee: I'm so sorry for your loss Was it hard for you to return to school after the summer? I'm a school counselor, and it's been really hard going back, because I keep thinking- I should be pregnant right now! And it's hard being around other teachers who are expecting... it's just not fair :(((

@MrsCastro: I feel the same way. Some days and moments it's really hard. It's just not fair that we should be pregnant now and it's just gone I'm trying to look forward, but it's been a hard morning.

@alison206: I'm sorry for your loss, too. Dealing with the long cycles has got to make it that much harder. I totally understand the anger, too. I'm not sure what will help, but maybe taking the time will be good. I wish you all the best and hope to see your bfp soon!!
