I don't know if it's too early but I am planning on POAS in September! September 25 to be exact! It seems like forever away but I have long cycles.

It'll be my first cycle post BCP so I'm not expecting a positive for one second... but if my body returns to normal immediately and my cycles are the standard 28 days (really big presumptions), I am due to POAS on the 9th September.

i honestly don't know where to post anymore. I'm on CD26 and thought I had o'd CD16 or so from CM (but I tested with OPK every day from CD10-CD20 with all negatives), but I just got a positive OPK so if I o in the next day or two, I will for sure be in this thread! What is with my cycle??? This is my third cycle off BCP and my last two cycles have been 29 days, and 32 days, so what the heck!

WomanLog tells me September 19th. Wahhh, seems like so far away. Good think I stocked up on cheapy tests from amazon! First two cycles I bought digitals... can think of many other things I'd rather spend money on than a "Not Pregnant" result at 6am.

@Ocean girl: Added you! Ya I am going the cheapy route this cycle. I bought a bunch of different tests (10) and they were not the cheap ones, so much fun getting 10 negatives...

i can't trust myself to buying any tests otherwise I think I would test at 1DPO, 2DPO, 3DPO..... lol I WILL waiting till atleast 12dpo...I'll try anyways.

@Hanzabelle: I told myself I won't let myself order the online tests til Sept 15th, then they will be there by the time I get home from my vacation and just in time to test. I'm like you, I am sure I would repeat last month and pee like 4 times a day 6dpo.

@jojogirl: I am not charting. I just took a digital opk today and got a positive so I guess I am populating very late and I will in fact join this thread! How do I determine my o date without charting now? Today is the first day I got a positive opk.

So a positive opk means your fertile? So I would count today or tomorrow as the day you ovulate. And it's always safe to count 14-19 dpo to test or 5 days after your missed period if you know when they come. Good luck!

@anonysquire: Yes a positive OPK means you're experiencing an LH surge, which happens right before you ovulate. So this is my second ay with a positive OPK, so I'm just going to assume I'm going to ovulate tomorrow, and set my POAS date as 9/3!

@chibee: word of advice from last month, once you get a positive OPK stop testing. I kept testing, and kept testing till I had 5 days of positives and it made me crazy. I would count tomorrow as your O date, BD everyother day (or every day if you are going that route) for 5-7 days. You'll be covered. Count 14 days(yeah right, lets be honest, 12 days) past your O date and thats your POAS date. However, my last BFP was 16 dpo.

Can I be a ? mark date? I'm sure I'll POAS many days, but since I don't know when or if I'll O, I can't pick a date yet. I'm still on the same cycle I was on for the August thread
CD47, still no O. I'm super crampy, almost more sore than crampy, and way down low. Hopefully AF will arrive soon!@Hanzabelle: That would be a really awesome day for a BFP!

I can't find the August POAS and I'm going to be like 8/31 or 9/1 so close enough right?! This is my fifth month of trying. Blah. I am charting so there's not any need to POAS unless my temp stays up. I'm crossing my fingers!

@anonysquire: dr started last one with provera, I was kind of miserable. Not on fertility meds, yet. Trying to avoid them. Started charting, just ordered a clearblue easy monitor, going to fertility acupuncturist weekly, trying to see if those can gets things on track. If not, them back to the dr & we'll have a SE done on DH & dr will give me something to make me O.

@ Mrs. Bird, the fertility monitor helps a lot! I just finished using it for the first month and it was super easy. I found OPK's totally hard to read accurately. With charting, the two can't be beat.

Gosh you guys... September POAS already! I wish I could join you this month, but our embryo transfer isn't until Oct 4th, so I'll have to hold out until the Oct thread is started. Wishing you all the best of luck for a September BFP!!!

@chibee: I love sweaters and boots! I am so over summer this year, we haven't had air conditioning. So ya, bring on fall! You can get a spray tan? I fake bake year round so if I am still not prgo, I will be tanning lol.

@anonysquire: no AC! I am very very intolerant of heat, my AC is always blasting in my house. I am also pretty allergic to mosquitoes, and they have been sooooo bad this summer, I can hardly go outside without getting bit, and mine swell up to the size of silver dollar pancakes!!!! So yep, can't wait for fall!
