I have written a few posts about my SIL who is pregnant with triplets. Well a few days ago we got the devistating news that she lost two of the babies. Today was her shower, and it was bitter sweet. Of course we're all so excited that she has a healthy baby in her belly still, and we're just praying that this baby stays healthy! She is 23 weeks pregnant. I could not even begin to imagine what she is going through at this time.
Please keep her and her LO in your thoughts.

Sending positive thoughts your way. A dear friend of mine lost one of her twins, but carried both for as long as possible to give the surviving twin a better chance. He was born at 32 weeks and is now at 18 months, nearly caught up on all his milestones (and the proud big brother to his twin sisters born a few days ago...)
At any rate, I'm sure it's a scary time, but hopefully she can focus on the positive and make it through the rest of the pregnancy with as few complications as possible.

@MegWag: Wow, what an amazing story. Yes she wants to go as long as she can so her LO can cook as long as possible. The two that passed were identical, and since one was doing bad it just brought the other down with it But luckily the doctor says the other baby isn't really associated with the other two so it should be fine, fingers crossed!

That's great news that the remaining baby is doing so well!
Yeah, my friend just has crazy fertility apparently... she actually had a Mirena in when she got pregnant with the girl twins. Quite the surprise.
Anyway... fingers crossed that things continue well and she is able to honor her lost children while still enjoying her survivor.

That makes me want to cry. What horrible news!! Your SIL and family are definitely in my thoughts and I hope you all can stay strong and help her though this rough time. Good luck to the one remaining baby to continue growing and getting stronger.

@tequiero21: All three babies will stay in until the one healthy one is ready to come out.... so hopefully a very long time! She's due in November, but we always knew with triplets it would be before then. Now I have no idea how long she'll be able to go.
