Seeing the nursery thread made me nostalgic for our nursery, but I don't have any photos of it and it was done in haste, but I am slowly working on our big kid room (even though my son's fully using it).

@Mrs. Jump Rope: awww! so cute, and I love that you actually have proper bedding on it...my son's bed has two snazzy bed rails and a single fitted sheet on it right now. He gets all twisted up.

@looch: we bought a bed rail but so far she hasn't needed it. I'm giving it a full week before I return it!

@mediagirl: it's a single. She doesn't really like covers so she usually kicks them off but I haven't seen them on the ground

Subscribing! We are moving in 2 days and I need inspiration for my son's new room.

So I managed to take a screen shot of the bedding I bought, but I can't figure out how to save it so I can post it....
In any event, the bedding is red and blue madras plaid patchwork and the walls are painted Benjamin Moore's Breath of Fresh Air (pale blue) with white trim. I had to take the closet doors down because they were heavy and my son was getting his fingers caught in there, so I have a pair of beige blackout curtains hung over the huge opening for now until we frame it out and put new doors in.
The furniture in the room is my old set, in a honey oak color but the bed is new, from Costco and painted navy blue.
I'll take some photos tonight, but the room is totally bare other than the furnishings and my son's collections all over the room. There is nothing on the walls at the moment, we've been in the house a year!
