What items did you love postpartum?
I'm due right after Christmas and hoping to put a couple items on my Christmas list.
Whether it be clothing, entertainment, etc. what did you absolutely adore postpartum or while on maternity leave or after.

LOVED my Target Yoga pants - I LIVED in them (and still do). Also nursing tanks (if you're planning on nursing) because I pretty much just lives with the girls out in the open for the first 6+ weeks. Also, Netflix - I watched so much TV during maternity leave!

If you're planning on nursing, nursing tanks are great. It can be tough to figure out what your bra size is during the first month. Baby carrier as well

Netflix, breast gel pads (they saved me), belly bandit, a pretty pair of yoga pants (like Lulu Lemon! Even though I've never owned a pair, I just dream about them).

If BF nursing tanks, bras, yoga pants, loose t shirts. PJ that are easy to slip the straps down. I hated tshirts cause you had to life the whole thing up.
Phone, DVR and a comfy couch

We loved the rock n play because it was super portable and LO slept great in it. I would also add nursing pads, lanolin, easy access shirts, and comfy pants to the list. I spent a lot of time on the couch the first few weeks so DVR shows, Iphone, and snacks were a must for me.

nursing tanks and a really lovely wrap cardigan or a zip up sweatshirt to wear over them. Great yoga pants. Netflix!!!!!!!!! maybe an ipad or tablet!!!

Depending on where you live, a nice pair of slippers
A nice big water bottle (if you are nursing)
A fantastic camera to snap awesome pictures
Maybe a gift certificate to get out of the house and do something for you (manicure, haircut etc)
DVD's of your favorite tv show to put on in during the middle of the night (though this is how I discovered how awesome Golden Girls is!)

Netflix for sure. There is NOTHING worth watching on at 2 am (and 3, and 5, and 6...)
And I would kill for a shoe store gift certificate. My feet went up a full size, and since I gave birth in August, just noticed now when the weather turned and suddenly none of my closed toe shoes fit.

Yoga pants, tshirts you don't mind leaking in, slippers and MOST IMPORTANTLY a big cup with a straw for water that you like, because it will be your BFF. Actually, get 2. So thirsty!

Yoga pants, nursing tanks, fly-away cardigans or a robe made out of knit material, Netflix.

I agree with a lot of PP re: yoga pants, netflix, nursing tanks.
I also think a giftcard to a store you like would be useful. While yoga pants are AWESOME, it's nice to have 1-2 pairs of regular pants to wear when you go out, but your old pants may not fit for a while. Also, none of my old tops really fit/are nursing friendly, so I had to buy some new shirts as well.

Netflix, Hulu, iPad, cleaning service (not even joking), gift certificates for restaurants, laundry service, nursing bras and lots of tanks.

Gift certificate for a postnatal massage, cleaning service, and Amazon (amazon has been a life saver!). Perhaps a gift certificate to a cheapy store like ON to get some non-yoga pants "real"clothes to wear for the first few months after.

Shoes that you can slip on without tying, for when you have your hands full, crossbody bag that you can wear when you need to run a few quick errands without dragging out the entire diaper bag!
I had no netflix, but I did have a lot of stuff on my DVR that I finally got a chance to watch!

iPad mini! Books for kindle (I use the iPad app), way easier to hold while nursing, a nice camera
