I’m 6m pp with #3 and the hair loss is killing me this time around. I was hoping for a slow down by now but nope ... thankfully I doubt it’s really noticeable to others (because who is paying attention?) and it’s fairly uniform but it is really making me sad! My hair is so flat/thin and the front hairline is not looking great. I have fine hair (but usually a lot of it) that falls below the shoulder.
I’m taking prenatals for BF and don’t see any signs of thyroid issues so probably have to wait it out. But surely there must be styling techniques/products/tips?
I’m also wondering if I should skip highlighting my roots for a bit. I’m guessing it could use a cut to lighten up the length though.
Thanks for any tips!
I'm not sure how much of that is baby hormones or all the other things - being in my 30s, I've started coloring my hair, I never have time to do my hair so it's constantly in a ponytail, etc. Though maybe I should have my thyroid checked too?
my hair has been coming out in sheets since early December, it is half disheartening and half disgusting how much comes out in the shower or is just stuck to every damn thing in our house. I keep trying to remember how long this went on with my first pregnancy--3 months? 4? do you remember?? hoping it's over soon and we can start growing our weird short patches of baby hair back. as for styling, I switched my part but am otherwise just hanging out, looking like this. Eh. wonder how the rest of our August ladies are doing.
