So last night I was running a low grade fever of 99.5 with chills. Tonight I had more chills a temp is up to 101.2
Should I call my ob after hours? Labor and delivery? I was just discharged on Sunday. Wait until am to call?

I would definitely call the OB right now! See if he/she thinks you should get checked out right now in case it is an infection. What other symptoms do you have? So sorry you are going through this right after having your little one.

Call ASAP, a fever could be sign of infection. Feel better and please make the call!

Call now! This happened to my mom after birth she thought it was nothing and before she knew it she had a fever of 105 due to an infection. Better safe than sorry!

Glad you called hon. If they don't get back to you soon, go in. This soon after delivery, a fever could be a sign if a serious infection (or something not so dangerous, but better to be safe).

@matador84: So glad you called! If you don't hear back soon, just go in. I hope you feel better!

Ob is calling antibiotics in. Praying my supply does take a hit! I'm all hormonal and weepy
He said that if I feel bad in the am still come by his office first thing.

@matador84: Awwww, hon.
I hope your supply is okay, too. If you can stomach it, maybe a little oatmeal and try to stay hydrated?

Poor thing. My guess would be you're dealing with mastitis but if you don't feel better tomorrow definitely go in to make sure there isn't something more serious going on. Especially with you having delivered in such a non sterile environment!!!

Thanks for support y'all!

I would also guess mastitis? I hope you feel better! My boobs didn't feel warm or tender either but I did have a red spot on one.

It could be a uterine infection too, rather than mastitis. I had one after C from retained tissue. Hopefully it's not.
Feel better.

Antibiotics have helped! Not sure what it was! Just glad to be feeling better for now.
