Are they worth the $$$? I have a couple from Carter's but they are getting way too small for my LO. The PBK ones look much bigger. Are they softer, too? Yay or nay?

Nay. We have a hooded lamb and, while it's adorable, it's not any better than the Skip Hop dog one we have (which was half the price). My son is also 15 months and it can't fully wrap him anymore.

We were gifted a few of the large size ones and still use them with our 3 year old Quality is great, we've had them since his infant months!

@LBee: Was that the nursery bath wrap or the kids bath wrap?
@BabyTsMom: I've been wondering the same thing. They have adorable penguin hooded towels (DD is obsessed with penguins), but they are $44 which seems kind of crazy! But still... Sooooo cute!

We have a couple of these and we love them. He still uses them at almost 3 and they are great quality and plenty big.

@twodoghouse: I'm an idiot. It's this one and T definitely can't be wrapped cuddly (although he is huge):

I'm in the minority, it seems. I guess I just feel like that there are definite things (like our Pottery Barn sherpa stroller blanket) that I reach for the "better" one when I have a choice. I did bath time last night and I actually grabbed the Pottery Barn towel, tried to wrap him, noticed it was too small, and grabbed the Skip Hop one instead,

@LBee: I think that's how I'd feel too - is it nicer than a cheap one? Probably... But do they really care about that? Probably not.

@twodoghouse: With that said, LO is obsessed with an animal similar to A's penguins and I'm currently shopping online for a hat in said animal's style.

We have the nursery elephant wrap and have barely used it, but DS (14mo) has always had a gigantic head so that may be our problem. Even when he was smaller, we barely used it, so my sense is that the animal ones may run small. We do, however, love the gingham bath wrap and use it all the time.

@LBee: Yeah, I have to admit I buy all the penguin things I can find!

We got one as a gift. Personally, I don't think they are worth the extra money to buy any additional for myself.

Eh - they're ok. I got one but I don't think they're worth the $$ - I bought a couple of BRU Disney ones and they were much bigger and softer imo.

@mrsjyw: same! We use it every night. So much that I had my mom get another for DD2.
