DS will be 2 years 8 months (so 32 months) when baby arrives in May. He's scheduled to move to the classroom at day care where they start potty training in March, which is probably awful timing considering his world is about to flip upside down in 2 months. How did you handle potty training if your kids were 2.5-3 years apart? I'm concerned if we do it before the baby comes, he will regress and we lose everything we did. But I'm also not sure if pushing it back to 3 or later (assuming we would wait a few months after baby comes) is good either. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it, which is entirely possible as well
He's showing limited signs he's ready - tells us when he's pooping and has asked to sit on the potty a couple of times (but never actually used it) - but I wouldn't say he's pushing for it at all.
Any advice?
