What weight loss goals do/did you have?
I need to loose 60+ lbs but need some more manageable goals. I've put on weight since giving birth not cool.

I gained 50+ and 40+lbs.
At almost 15 months pp I still have 7-10lbs to lose. My clothes are fitting though, so it's hard to motivate myself.

I'm 1.5 years pp. I gained about 20 lbs during my breastfeeding/pumping time. Through WW, I've lost over 35 lbs and am super close to my weight goal which is almost 20 lbs lighter than my conception/pp weights.

I want to lose the 5 lbs around my belly and tighten it up. It's still loose and flabby.

I just wanted to be back to pre preg within a few months. I gained 40lbs and I'm 4lbs away at 3 months pp.
Buuuuut I'd still like to lose about 10 more pounds.

@cascademom: do you go to the meetings? I've tried online twice and quit twice.

I gained 40 lbs, and got all of it off by 9-10 months. I've been working out the last couple of months and now it's more about tightening belly/arms than losing wt. I lost the 40 lbs slowly and gradually, no fast wt loss from bfing here.

@MrsH: nothing! I lost a lot just having him (and being in the hospital for 10 days without a ton of food) and then I cut dairy and lost a bit but I think it's mainly because my appetite just isn't there and if it is, it's for something I can't eat (like cake and cookies). Sounds bad, but I just don't eat nearly enough.

At 6 weeks PP I'm at my prepreg weight, I'm gonna start working out (since I got cleared the other day) to get rid of the flab.

@MrsH: All online. I guess I just motivated myself to do it and be accountable that way. I don't have time for meetings and like the privacy of the apps and online, minus that awful pic of Jessica Simpson with her gaping mouth on the front page.

@Ash: I wish my appetite wasn't there and that It would warm up so I could get outside.

I gained 70 with DS, was down to 130 then Prego again and gained around 35. I think I'm about 15 away from goal.

I'm down 45 lbs, 12 away from pre-preg, but want to lose 20 total. I start The Whole 30 and a bootcamp challenge on Monday!
honeydew / 7909 posts
@MrsH: I agree! Your thread on Monday encouraged me to take the baby for a walk and it got me wanting warmer weather NOW!
I think what happened is lo would fuss when I tried to make food so I just never ate and my body got used to it. And I think I could have an ulcer from stressing about going back to work. Totally not healthy.
P.S. You still look great

I'm down 25 pounds since birth. That leaves 45 pounds to get me back to pre pregnancy weight...which wasn't my ideal but I was happy where I was. Right now I'm not concerned about working out...I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to for a while. But we are cutting out the junk food already.

I am 8 months pp and haven't lost any weight since 6 weeks pp. I work out and diet and bf and nothing works at all! It's really frustrating. The goal is me pp weight - I am about 13 pounds away. I don't mind how I look, but we want to have 3 more kids, and I don't want to keep layering on extra pounds with each!

After college I had a few things happen that were not kind to my body and fitness regime and I gained 30+ lbs so going into my TTC i was on the high end. I gained 35lbs while pregnant and lost it all by 14 week pp. I have since lost 8lbs more and i'm hoping to lose another 25lb in total but i'd like to be lower than my wedding weight by memorial day (6lbs to go!)

You know what, I gained 60 freaking pounds while pregnant. I did Crossfit, too, and wasn't regularly downing boxes of cookies and shit.
It all came off, plus some, with a lot of hard work, though. And I'm below pre-pregnancy weight, honestly.

I gained 50+ lbs with LO, and have lost about 30 of that. I really just want to get back to my pp weight, so 20 to go. The scale hasn't moved in 6 months despite having made some changes to my activity level and eating habits, so it's discouraging. To be honest, I think once I'm done with my Master's next spring I will have more energy to focus on it, and will probably join a gym.

@grizz: what's your boot camp challenge? That sounds fun!
@Bookish: DH and I both were in grad school before we got our BFP - the last several years have not been kind to my body.

I am a little over a month PP and I would like to lose about 10 pounds. However I would be pleased if I just tightened up my tummy and legs.
Pre-preg weight: 161LBS
Current weight: 155LBS
Goal weight: 145lbs
It needs to hurry up and warm up tho! I want to get outside and play with my babies!

@Mrs. High Heels: Same, mine might be 5-8! I need new non maternity jeans.

I gained 60 pounds with LO and at seven months pp have about 6 to lose to get to pp weight although I'd like to lose 10. My clothes pretty much fit but my midsection is wider and my boobs are still huge. Id really like to get back into shape in terms of endurance and muscle though.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
My goal is to tone the tummy. I'm lucky and am back to pre pregnancy weight at 5.5 weeks pp but it's distributed differently.

Wow! You ladies are impressing me with your weight loss skills. I gained almost 30 pounds, lost 15 after my daughter was born in early October and haven't been able to drop a pound since. This is despite serious exercise -- at least 3 times a week spinning class and cutting out bread, rice and most sugars. I'm very discouraged. And getting desperate because I was on the heavy (for me) side before BFP and would like to lose more than just my pregnancy weight.
So Kudos to all of you that have been able to shed the weight. Tips appreciated!

I gained 45 pounds with DS, lost 25, got pregnant again and gained (almost exactly) the 25 back. So I ended up 45 up from my pre-baby #1 weight when I gave birth to #2 last November.
I'm currently down 35 pounds so 10 pounds from PP (pre-pregnancy #1 that is). I really just want to lose those 10 pounds. I'd love to lose 5 more on top of that but those last 5 aren't super important to me.
Breastfeeding wasn't a magical weight loss solution for me unfortunately. After I left the hospital from having DD I was down 10 pounds and I stayed right there, despite EBF, until I changed my diet completely and started exercising at 6 weeks PP.

@MrsH: Its set up just like The Biggest Loser, except no one gets kicked off You can win prizes for the highest percentage of weight lost individually, and highest percentage lost per team. I'm nervous!

My original goal was to lose all the baby weight plus an additional couple pounds that I had been carrying by the time I started work again. That didn't happen, but I am only 1-2 pounds from my goal weight now, at 5 months pp. The next goal is to actually start working out again so I can tone up my tummy.

I'm due in April and already thinking about this. I would like to lose the pregnancy weight by the time I go back to work, and then lose the 50+ I was working on before getting pregnant. I'll be rejoining Weight Watchers at some point, depending on how it works with nursing.

I gained 70+ lbs with my twin pregnancy. I'm 14 mo pp and have been back at my pre-preg weight since about 9 to 10 months, but was very flabby. At 1 yr pp, I was able to get seriously back into the gym since the evening routine got easier with the boys, freeing up some of my time. My goal now is to lose the jiggle that is my belly pooch haha and tone up arms and legs. I do feel incredibly proud of how far I've come though. And more than just physical goals, I just want to feel healthy and fit so that I can keep up with these two rambunctious toddlers!

I was easy on myself and gave myself 9 months to lose it .
6 months PP and I've lost it all (though my body is not shaped the same anymore!) Now I'm working on losing another 15 and I'll be happy

I was about 40 lbs overweight when I got pregnant, and I gained another 30. I lost 20 right after she was born so I have 10 lbs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and then I want to lose at least another 20, so 30 lbs total. Even though I am only 10 lbs heavier than I was, I went from a size 12/14 to an 18! My post C section belly makes me wanna hurl...
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
I only gained 22lbs while pregnant, so I've lost my baby weight already. However, I was about 30lbs overweight when I got pregnant, and my belly is super jiggly/flabby still, so I want to make an effort to get back on track.
Ideally, I would like to lose about 25-30lbs more. Right now I'm using MyFitnessPal to track food intake, and hopefully I'll get to the gym soon.

@daniellemybelle: ugh my post c-section belly is scary. I have flab that hangs over my incision.
