Thank you guys so much! It didn't go as well as I hoped, but it wasn't bad. Her jaw has come out a little & the doc said she's making good progress there. He will continue to keep an eye on it as she grows, but anticipates that she will grow out of the retraction. The part I didn't forsee was that her tongue tie hasn't healed like it was supposed to. That wasn't much of an issue at her 1 month appointment, as some scar tissue & swelling was expected 4 weeks out. I didn't realize the tie would still be an issue. Apparently, it's still thick, has some scar tissue, and slightly tied. We have another follow-up to check on her jaw & tie in July. If her tie isn't considerably better by then we might need another procedure.
All in all though, we got ourselves a healthy, happy girl! Doc is happy that her latch has improved enough that she's putting on little chubby rolls! She's also very vocal which is a good sign!

@photojane: glad to hear there's been improvement! Just curious, are they concerned about the tongue tie because of future speech? Or because it's affecting her ability to bottle feed?

@sorrycharlie: Thank you! I really can't complain... she's a healthy & a pretty darn cute.
@hilsy85: I'm not sure actually! He didn't seem too worried about her eatins (he kept calling her fat!). She's latching pretty well on the bottle these days (compared to the first 1.5 months when it was awful) & she's "talking" up a storm. I guess if the tie isn't better by the next appointment, we'll talk about whether a procedure would be necessary or helpful!
