@FliegepilzHut: Yay for a good scan today! The picture from my anatomy scan is one of my favourites because it actually looks like a baby finally

@mrswin: I guess I've thought he was fairly baby-ish for a while now... But a weight estimate-- 13 oz?!?! Pretty cool!

36 weeks tomorrow and my OB last week said I'll probably go early like I did with my son. C-section is scheduled for 39 weeks. We'll see if I make it that far!
Had a very scary day Monday at my first non-stress test in which baby girl's hb dropped very fast (from 140's to 70's) in a matter of seconds). They whisked me from perinatal testing upstairs to maternity to be monitored and thank gosh it didn't happen again. I was so, so scared. I thought they were going to take the baby and more importantly thought something was wrong with the baby! It was just awful. They think she just rolled onto the umbilical cord. Oh my gosh....never want to experience that again!
Can't believe so many of us are almost there!!!

@Jenn23: I know... so close. Such a strange feeling knowing it can happen any day now! I've been having more period like cramps and contractions (nothing regular) but its making me wonder when it could all go down!

@Jenn23: Hudson and Benjamin were born on March 24th. Being a twin mom definitely keeps you super busy but I don't find it hard at all, which was my fear. Here are a few pics as requested. Can't wait to meet your lo!!

@bluestriped bee: Thank you! I'm so excited for you to find out the sex of yours. Or are you?
@mrswin: The recovery this time has been much easier so far. Idk if it's because I already knew what to expect or that I knew it was really important to move around early, but I have not had the pain this time at all like last time.

@Jenn23: How are you feeling these days?? Your c-section is soon right?
@marionberry: Glad your recover went better this time. They are SO cute!
@mrswin: Any signs up labor coming? I haven't really had anything. Has your doctor done any cervical checks? I haven't I will have my first this friday.

@marionberry: Glad to hear that your recovery has been easier this time around, especially since you have your hands full!
@Mrs.Pinecone316: I don't really have an my signs, some menstrual like cramps sometimes and swollen feet. I have my first cervical check tomorrow at my 39 week appointment. My doc is really conservative with IVF pregnancies and will not allow me to go much past 40+3 or 40+4
persimmon / 1316 posts
@mrswin: I will be having my first check on Friday then have my next appointment at 40 weeks. I have read such mixed things about IVF and inducing sooner, my doctor hasn't mentioned it but you made me curious so maybe I will ask her about it this week.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@Mrs.Pinecone316: Well I had my appointment today. My Dr has booked me in for a NST on Friday and an induction on Sunday . My fluid levels at the ultrasound were borderline low and my blood pressure is a little elevated for my normal range. I'm a little apprehensive about the induction because my cervix is still really long and closed and the baby is high. Depending on how things go on Friday will determine the final plan for Sunday.
ETA: I find this doctor to be very conservative and I think it is because he is head of MFM at the hospital so he sees the "bad" stuff quite often so maybe it colours his perspective some. I am part of his "low risk" clinic but I think he has a hard time switching gears

@mrswin: Oh wow, sunday!! Hope your NST goes well. Have you tried any natural things to get baby more ready for labor? A birthing ball can help baby drop. Hope things start aligning for you so that you can have a easy successful induction!

Due date is officially tomorrow. I always thought this one would come before my due date I really never thought I would be one of those people going past their due date! I've got an US and non stress test scheduled for tomorrow. Really eager to meet this little one!

@tequiero21: Thank you. The hardest part is truly my 18 mo right now. He's healous and in a "I don't listen/tantrum" phase. When you add that to the twins I sometimes want to rip my hair out.

@marionberry: o, yeah, I know how that is lol. Except the other way around. It's getting better but having two toddlers when my third kid was born.... May still have some bald spots. Lol.

Hi ladies. I'm 4 weeks today and going in for a beta tomorrow. I'm not even slightly happy or excited. I'm terrified. As I said to my husband, I have never gotten a good result from a beta so I feel like I'm doomed once I go in for the blood test. I hate this so much. And I hate that I can't just be happy and excited. I didn't know where to talk about it since I don't have a due date group yet and my POAS group died out. So I hope you don't mind me crashing here.
