Have to have a rant right now...

Our HP printer stopped printing in black. We replaced the printer cartridge just in case... Twice... Did all the troubleshooting... Nothing. This happened years ago with a Kodak printer of ours, and they sent us a new printer head that was super easy to replace and everything was fine. We bought this HP a little over a year ago to be able to do wireless printing between our laptops, desktop, and phones.

Well, HP will not do anything because it's been over a year. Oh, but we can get the newer version for $100 instead of $120. WHY on earth would I buy a new one just to have to buy another one in another year?!? Grr!! I know I'm unreasonably angry about this, and I would've given them an earful (DH talked to them).

So I told DH if they won't stand by their product (and send us a part that probably doesn't cost them $1), I'm not going to stand by them. DH said "but we just spent $60 on ink" to which I responded "well that's the last $60 HP is ever getting from us then!!"

Am I right to just buy a new printer in a new brand, and say screw HP? Or should we get the comparable HP so we can use our brand new ink?

Have your hormones made you unreasonably angry?
