My husband was the first to know. The first time I was pregnant he was in the hospital and I wouldn't see him until the next day, so I called him and told him. The second time he was right next to me.

I called my two best friends first. I was freaking out because this baby was a HUGE surprise. I went over to my girlfriend's house and took three more tests.
I told DH later that night when we took our dog for a walk.

I told my husband first once he got home from work. It was the longest 4 hour wait of my life! Then, we told my my and dad later that night. We told his parents about 2 weeks later and his sister a day after that. Then my sister on Christmas Eve which was 3 weeks after we found out because we wanted to tell her in person.

DH and then my parents. We waited a while to tell his parents. And then I told 2 friends. We waited until about 13 weeks to tell anybody else.

My husband was first. Then one of my friends. They are still the only ones who know and I'm 10.5 weeks along (and I found out at 3 weeks, 6 days). I know some people can't wait to share the new, but I want to hold off for as long as possible.

Husband, then our moms. A few days later, we told siblings, dads, and close friends. After the blood positive, we told our grandparents. Grandparents have let it leak some more, but we already told everyone who needed to hear it from us.

I told my sister before my husband. I wasn't supposed to test til after AF was due, but I had some cramps (which I never get before AF) and really sore boobs, so I had to just test to "stop thinking I was pregnant." I was planning on hiding the negative test at the bottom of the trashcan. I waited for him to leave to walk the dog, took a test, saw pregnant pop up immediately, freaked out and called my sister. Then sent the picture of the test to Livsmama and winniewolf and planned a little surprise for when DH got home 20 minutes later

DH! Then a week later, I told my brother... then ILs that night, then my parents a couple days later at my dad's 60th bday dinner

We told close friends a couple of weeks after that!

Hubs was first (at 4 weeks and some change)!

I told my dad and then my mom at 8 weeks - I wanted to tell them together, but my mom was at a social function. My dad didn't want to get in trouble for *holding out* on my mom,, so he asked me to call her on her cell phone. I did, and she had me on speaker, so the whole room errupted in cheers when I told her. I'm kinda glad, cus that made it a little more special for her, too. DH also told his parents the same day.

Don't tell DH but he wasn't the first! I found out before work and just went along in a daze all day. I happen to have lunch with a friend and she guessed why I was acting weird.

My husband as soon as he got out of the shower... felt like the longest shower ever! Then the next morning I called my SIL on the way to work- she had been so supportive during our long TTC time.

We waited about 2 weeks until all of our parents were in town for brunch (torture trying not to spill the beans over the phone).

Our dog, DH wasn't home and that is something to share in person.
