Hello Hive, I'm pretty sure there's a big chance I'll be starting a new job soon (company starting to check references). The only downside is that I'm 18 weeks pregnant. I went for my interview, but I'm not showing that much, so I don't think they know I am pregnant. Of course, once I get the offer, in writing I plan to tell my supervisor ASAP, but I didn't want being pregnant to play a factor in the hiring process at all as it shouldn't be. If I'm the best candidate, I should be chosen and that's that.

I guess, I'm nervous because I don't know how they will react once I tell them. I'm nervous because not sure what to do about daycare for my toddler as I was a SAHM. FMLA won't apply to me as I haven't been at the job for a year, so job security isn't necessarily 100% secure. With all these doubts and insecurities, I'm beginning to wonder whether taking this job is worth it. I mean in the long run, it will be great for my career, but I just feel scared. Anyone else ever been in my shoes?
