We haven't and we aren't even close! Ahhhh!
Picking my LO's name was so much easier...I think we determined her name a week after our gender scan.

Not at ALL!! We sort of have a girl's name we like, but I'm sort of meh on all the boys names we have and I'm 99.9% convinced it's a boy. We still have time though - at least thinking about names can be done when stores are closed
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
No, but I'm only 11 weeks! We are pretty set on a girl first name, I think, but up in the air for a boy.
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
we were pretty decided before we even started TTC! We've been keeping a list of favorites for a few years
We are decided on a girl's and a boy's name at this point- but we do have a back-up girl's name just in case we change our minds.
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
No, and I really, really want to have it settled. Part of me just can't seem to really decide until I see them. The frustrating part for us is we know what we would name a boy if it was only one, but since it's two, we want their names to sound nice together but not be matchy. Then DH has all these rules about them having to have family names that are of equal "specialness," etc.
We may not get them named until we leave the hospital!

I'm only 9 weeks so we have a lot of time to change our minds. However, we're pretty set on a girls first name but cannot figure out a boys name.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
We've played around with names prior to us even thinking about TTC. We have a 2 contenders for a boy's name and 1 girl name, but we're open to suggestions!

i'm 38 weeks and we still haven't picked a name. we've narrowed it down to 3 and unless we make a decision beforehand, we will probably wait until he is born to see which name strikes us as the best one for him.
GOLD / cantaloupe / 6581 posts
No, we have a list of three boy and three girl names we like, but we won't narrow them down til the very end, I bet! I'm pretty set on a girl's name, but our boy names are ehhhh... so I've got more thinking to do
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
We had a boys name picked out years before we even started TTC! And we picked out a girl's name before our 20 week anatomy scan, so that when we found out the gender, we'd know which name to go with.
kiwi / 733 posts
We came up with a name the evening after our anatomy scan when we learned gender. We've stuck with that first name ever since, but we've been debating the middle name, although it's been the same one or two the whole time. I think we'll probably go with it, unless we come up with something brilliant SOON...I'm heading toward 35 weeks!
pomelo / 5331 posts
Yes, but I'm totally anal retentive. We had names picked out by like 8 weeks.
eggplant / 11716 posts
I'm only 12 1/2 weeks, but it looks like we haev a favorite girl's first name, but no middle name and a boy's first name that my husband loves that I am on the fence about.
We're not reallllly going to discuss it until after our gender scan.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Yep! Had the first name picked in the doctor's office right after we found out it was a girl. We had discussed names before getting pregnant. Finally decided on the middle name a month or so ago.

I picked a girl's name years ago, before we even got married! Boys names are so much harder... argh.
grapefruit / 4823 posts
No because we don't know what we are having yet. We try not to discuss it because we always end up arguing over names...we only agreed on 2 names when G was born!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
We are still TTC and have had our girls name picked for a long time. Boys names we can never agree on.
honeydew / 7504 posts
NO. Because Hubs is the most indecisive person o nthe planet. If it were up to me, he'd be named. But Hubs can't make a decision about freaking anything. I just made him sit down and narrow down our "possibilities" list the other night because there were THIRTEEN names on it. We were able to get it down to 6, then after talking to my sister, we dropped it down to 4. I think that's the best Hubs will do for now. Looks like we're going to wait to see what baby looks like when he arrives.

Yes we're set!... but I agree it was so much easier to choose our daughter's name - I knew right away... than to finalize our son's name (I have 6 weeks to go!).

@Mrs. Blue: I have a friend that just had twin boys. They immediately announced that baby boy A would be Dad's Name Junior and it wasn't until like three days later they announced that they came up with a trendy/popular (but very cute) name for baby boy B. I would hate for Twin A to be a junior and have a special family name and Twin B to just have something picked out of a book!

Nope, we have a list that we plan on picking from once we see her (in 5 weeks!). I just can't name her if I haven't seen her yet!
blogger / pineapple / 12381 posts
For our first daughter we knew pretty early. For M it was right up until D day before we knew for sure.
I think you have a great list going, though!
pomegranate / 3414 posts
With were team green both times. Both times we had the girls name picked by around 30 weeks. Both times we had the boys name narrowed down to two; didn't need it first time but second time waited a couple hours of DS' birth to make final decision.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
I think we're pretty settled but we're not planning on being 100% until she's here!
kiwi / 711 posts
We have baby boy's name picked out but are still on the fence with baby girl's name. We do have it narrowed down to 3 names at least.
pineapple / 12053 posts
i'm 39 weeks and we're pretty decided although i look at names pretty often to see if there are others i like. we haven't told anyone the name although a couple friends know our top 2 (by accident). unless she comes out NOT looking like the name we like the most, we're going to stick with it.
pomelo / 5820 posts
Yes, we have a boy's name and a girl's name picked out. We chose them pretty early in my pregnancy. (Probably around 8 weeks).
pomelo / 5791 posts
Yup - I'm 35 weeks and we settled on a name once we found out his gender at 20 weeks.
honeydew / 7589 posts
No, and I'm 30 weeks. We have it narrowed down to five first names, middle names still in the air... I doubt we'll have it picked until we meet her.
papaya / 10570 posts
No!!!!!!! Fortunately we're only 11 weeks - but we've been discusing it for eight of those and all we've managed to achive is removing all bar one name from my list of about 10 girls names and about 5 boys names (DH hated them all) and removing 2 out of 2 names from DH's list (I didn't like them). I'm not even sure about the one name left, either.....! At this rate, our poor child will just be called Baby!!!!
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
Nope! But I'm only a little over 8w. We have names that we like, but I still want to go through a book of names once we find out the gender to make sure there aren't any that we're just not thinking of.
nectarine / 2631 posts
Nope! 28 weeks and still have a list of names! we had a girls name all picked out, but we are having a little boy- and we still cant decide!!
honeydew / 7586 posts
Yep! We don't find out the gender until this weekend but we are set either way
